App hanging

During my first test event, I noticed the app hanging like this multiple times. Is this expected when the event is not public? I guess it became better when it was set to public.

Also, It sometimes took a while for the result from the app to reach the admin dashboard. App said “reported”, but not even refreshing the dashboard helped. It showed after a few minutes though.
